Jonathan D. Williams
Jonathan D. Williams is an associate attorney with Booth Harrington & Johns of NC PLLC. He earned a B.S., cum laude, from Wake Forest University in 2002, an M.A. from Wake Forest University in 2011, and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2011. Mr. Williams was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2011. He graduated from law school magna cum laude, and was named to the Order of the Coif. Also in law school, he served on the editorial staff of the Wake Forest Law Review, and was awarded the E. McGruder Faris Award for character, leadership, and scholarship.
Prior to joining Booth Harrington & Johns of NC PLLC, Mr. Williams worked as a law clerk at the Winston-Salem office of Legal Aid of North Carolina, and as a law clerk at the law firm of Crumpler Freedman Parker & Witt, also in Winston-Salem. He also worked as a student attorney at the Elder Law Clinic at Wake Forest University School of Law. At Booth Harrington & Johns of NC PLLC, Mr. Williams’s practice focuses on public benefits planning (Social Security, Medicaid, and Veterans’ benefits), estate planning, and estate administration, as well as guardianship and special needs trusts.
Mr. Williams has also served as a volunteer guardian ad litem for youths in custody of the Forsyth County Department of Social Services, and in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
