North Carolina’s First Elder Law Firm, Booth Harrington & Johns of NC PLLC, is a specialty law firm that focuses exclusively in the areas of elder law and special needs. For over 30 years our team, led by nationally recognized certified elder law attorney and board certified specialist in elder law
A. Frank Johns, has served as advocates for thousands of clients including the elderly, those with special needs, and their families. With offices in Greensboro and Charlotte, our professionals take pride in helping clients plan for the future, while protecting hard-earned savings that have taken a lifetime to build. Today, under Mr. John’s leadership, Booth Harrington & Johns of NC PLLC has grown to become one of the most active elder law and special needs practices in North Carolina and across the US.
At Booth Harrington & Johns of NC PLLC, we are committed to responding to the needs of our clients, while advocating on their behalf and ensuring that all of their needs are being met. Our approach is based on specialization, experience and our ability to stay abreast of changing rules and regulations affecting seniors today. We work to provide our services with our clients' specific, practical needs in mind. Our professionals place great emphasis on not merely identifying legal problems, but also presenting solutions to resolve them. We also realize that elder law and special needs issues are complex and often confusing to those outside the legal community. Our team works hard to help you understand the issues at hand and the solutions that are available to you. We do this by providing plain talk and clear answers to you and your family.
We believe that education and awareness are keys to supporting the quality of life for older adults and those with special needs. That’s why our attorneys actively participate in state and national elder law organizations, including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. We regularly attend educational conferences to stay informed of the latest developments in the field. And we teach continuing education courses in elder law for other lawyers and senior-care providers across the country, including the North Carolina Bar and the Heckerling Institute.
Our passion for elder law reaches far beyond the boundaries of the firm. We have worked hard to advance the elder law profession right here in North Carolina and across the nation. Among the notable contributions are: appearing on Capitol Hill to discuss guardianship issues for the elderly; working with the North Carolina State Bar to establish the NC Elder Law Section; and serving as a charter member to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
