ADVOCATE FOR QUALITY-OF-LIFE

Aging is part of life. As we age, we learn to understand and appreciate the special needs that arise for the elderly. Perhaps you have learned through aging parents no longer able to care for themselves, or through their loss of handling financial affairs and losing governmental benefits. Whatever your situation, you need not learn through trial and error. When you work with Booth Harrington & Johns of NC PLLC, you'll receive advice from pioneers in the field of Elder Law having the necessary knowledge and experience to make a difference.

Formed in 1979, Booth Harrington & Johns has a long history of advocating for seniors and their families. We are known as North Carolina's First Elder Law Firm!

Today all of the attorneys at Booth Harrington & Johns are involved in providing Elder Law services or in directly related practice areas. Additionally, the firm offers civil litigation services in state and federal court for business disputes and serious injury cases and administrative practice in areas of education and disability law.

Our attorneys actively participate in state and national Elder Law organizations, including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). We regularly attend educational conferences to stay informed of the latest developments in the field. And we teach continuing education courses in elder law for other lawyers and senior-care providers.

Charter partner, A. Frank Johns, was a pioneer in developing Elder Law as a district legal practice in the mid-1980s and is frequently a featured speaker at national conferences. Johns has testified before the United States Senate Sub-Committee on Aging several times. Frank Johns is a nationally recognized leader in the field of Elder Law and is a former President of NAELA.

Mr. Johns is one of only a handful of attorneys practicing in North Carolina who have specialty credentials as Certified Elder Law Attorneys (CELA). Under his guidance, our firm has solidified its commitment to helping clients maintain their lifestyles and financial stability as they age.

Today, Booth Harrington & Johns has grown to be one of the most active Elder Law practices in North Carolina. Our guiding principle calls upon us to "Treat each client with the care and commitment we would personally want for ourselves." At Booth Harrington & Johns, we put our commitment to client satisfaction into action every day.
