Michele P. Lee
Michele Lee is an associate at Booth Harrington & Johns of NC, PLLC, joining the firm in April, 2022. Michele is a former Senior Judicial Hearing Officer, Special Proceedings Supervisor and Assistant Clerk of Superior Court in Guilford County, Greensboro, North Carolina. Michele began her employment with the Clerk’s Office in 2015 after having her son, Liam, and taking a brief hiatus from her law practice. In her role as a hearing officer, she presided over such matters as adult judicial adjudications of incompetency, adult and minor guardianship appointments, contested estate proceedings, adoptions, partitions, legitimations, and foreclosures, as well as many other special proceeding and civil matters. Before joining the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, Michele was the managing partner at Gray, Johnson, Blackmon, Lee & Lawson, LLP. Michele is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, 18th Judicial District Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, Greensboro Bar Association, Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers, and currently serves on the board of directors of Senior Resources of Guilford. Michele received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from Campbell University School of Law.
